About Veronica Morales Banta, MD

Veronica M. Banta, MD was born in El Centro, CA and grew up in Monterey County, CA. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, where she earned two Bachelor's degrees - one in Physiology and one in Psychology. After receiving her Master's Degree in Biology from MCP Hahnemann in Philadelphia, PA, she was awarded several scholarships to attend the USC Keck School of Medicine, where she graduated in 2006. After receiving her medical degree, she completed her residency training in Family Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Veronica Banta is certified in the Sciton JOULE Aesthetic Laser Platform, which allows her to perform laser treatments for melasma, sunspots, hair removal, acne, rosacea, wrinkle reduction, skin rejuvenation, and skin tightening. She also holds certification in injectable dermal fillers and Botulinum Toxin. Dr. Banta is fully committed to her skin care practice--Belleza Skin Institute--and owns her own laser equipment. She gets to know each of her patients as individuals, and personally performs all of her procedures. As an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, her knowledge of current research and best-practices is always up-to-date.

Dr. Veronica Banta has a special interest in skin care medicine. She enjoys not only performing treatments, but also educating the public in proper skin care. Dr. Banta is particularly aware of the cultural sensitivities needed to provide effective communication to patients from different cultures. Dr. Banta has clients of all skin types and ethnicities. Her amiable personality and expertise has allowed her to work with a wide range of backgrounds. Her previous clients include actors and television personalities, as well as housewives, teachers, nurses, physicians, and more.

In addition to her laser skin care practice, Dr. Veronica Banta works part-time as a physician at a busy Family Practice clinic in Hollywood, CA. When she's not practicing medicine, Dr. Banta enjoys salsa dancing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
